Winchendon Special Education Parent Advisory Council
Currently, Winchendon Public Schools does not have an active Special Education Parent Advisory Council. Any parent of a Special Education Student enrolled in the Winchendon Public Schools who is interested in taking on a leadership role, please contact the Special Education office at (978)297-1850 or specialeducation@winchendonk12.org.
The Winchendon Public Schools is in the process of submitting an Alternative Compliance Waiver to the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in order to provide a series of district level parent training and participation events as an alternative to a district level Special Education Parent Advisory Council. The link to the DESE Advisory can be found here. Please contact the Special Education office if you would like to provide feedback regarding the waiver application.
